Organic China Yellow Dragon: A Journey into Yunnan's Finest

Welcome to the pinnacle of organic tea craftsmanship. Our organic yellow tea 'China Yellow Dragon' is not just a beverage; it's an experience born from the misty, high-altitude mountains of Yunnan, China.

This exceptional yellow tea is harvested only once a year, in May, from lush organic gardens nestled near the legendary town of Pu'er. Grown at elevations of up to 1,900 meters, the tea leaves are imbued with the pure essence of their pristine environment, resulting in a flavour profile that is both complex and profoundly pure.

What sets the Yellow Dragon apart is its unique and meticulous production method. The process begins similarly to that of a classic Chinese green tea, with the freshly harvested leaves being carefully processed to halt oxidation.

However, a crucial final step transforms this tea into something truly special. The leaves are placed into closed bamboo baskets, where they are allowed to gently mature for seven days. This controlled "smothering" process encourages a subtle, post-fermentation process that gives the leaves their characteristic darker hue and enriches their flavour.

This rare technique is a testament to the artistry and tradition of Chinese tea masters, who have perfected this craft over generations.

The taste of our Yellow Dragon is a revelation, a sophisticated dance of flavours that will captivate your senses. The first sip introduces a distinctive spicy and slightly chocolaty note, a warm and inviting character that is a hallmark of high-quality Yunnan teas.

This richness then gracefully transitions into a delicate, fine floral finish that lingers on the palate, leaving a refreshing and elegant aftertaste.

It's a harmonious and balanced combination that truly showcases the best qualities of the region's teas—a bold start, a smooth middle, and a memorable conclusion.

Whether you are a seasoned tea connoisseur or new to the world of yellow tea, the Yellow Dragon offers a tasting journey unlike any other.
